it's been a while...ooops..
sorry it's been quite a while since i last posted on here probably like to say that cause i have been working hard but i have been busy but i should have oops.
anywho now in the timescale of exhibition yaya
and after alot of stressing out finally got to a final idea and hopefully will be up and ready.
the peice is wall based / participatery piece.
the whole idea is to show how i am unique and that i strive for bright colour and that white doesnt stand out and how i am very choatic with my colour pallete.
since doing my curating show as well i have fell in love with the whole 60's psychedelic era art and wellbeing and creating this trippy piece.
it is 2 opposite walls in the gallery space one side going to be a big circle in the centre where there will be a bright psychedelic colour side this will look like it is seeping into the white side. i will be using groovy wallpaper on the coloured side and painting on top wildly and choaticly. the particapery part is that i'm having white and coloured shelves with rainbow and bright coloured sweets where the viewer can take some for themselves. the white side will be the same but just white and very bland with white shelves and white sweets. the opposite wall to this is going to have 2 photographic eyes my eyes. where 1 eye will be completly white iris and the other will have photoshopped some layers of my work. this will look like it's looking at the work and this is what i see.

new ideas...
a few new ideas have come my way recently whilst doing my artist statement my exhibition and organising my proposal for end of year exhibition... still sticking with the bright colour obviously ! but going make something of it gets peoples reactions and so they experience the colour. Also doing some painting work which is too do if i knew colour was there but i couldn't see it this is to me always seeing everything in bright colour but if this was taken away from me how would it look. so using a simple psychedlic pattern inspired by karin davis the artist i chose my colours and postioned the paint then first did one with my eyes open then second one with eyes closed and see how hard it was for me to do, i did struggle but i think this will add something to my work.. my ideas to come now i'm preparing for something quite exciting for end of year exhbition.

i don't know if it was just me...
but I really enjoyed grahams lesson today about installation art. It was like he had got into my mind somehow and realised what i'm doing at the mo in my work and showed it all on a powerpoint i was really and trully happy when i left cause i felt that i can now get on with what I want to do. expect some childish relaxing trippy things coming soon guys .
